Wuhan, China, August 18, 2013 – Despite maintaining their 100% record with a 3-2 (25-17, 25-27, 25-20, 23-25, 15-5) win against Serbia, China coach Lang Ping insisted her team need to learn from victory.
China claimed their first ever victory against Serbia in the World Grand Prix and confirmed their best ever start to the competition with nine consecutive victories, but Lang Ping was still cautious in her assessment.
"Serbia played very well. We didn't deal with it very well in the second and fourth sets. This victory was difficult and we know the gap. We can learn a lot from this, and this is a challenge. We must pay attention to the fact that there were ups and downs in today's match."

The head coach of Serbia Zoran Terzic said he gave game time to his more inexperienced players, but was still not happy with the result against undefeated China.
"I would like to congratulate China, not only for winning tonight, but for all the tournament."
"We were not satisfied with the performance today because we put many young players in the team and many mistakes. We hope we can progress in the future."
